these are perfect for summer ☀️

Hi Reader!

(Listen to the email instead of reading it.)

Tap, tap, tap.

Socks (one of our cats) looked at me in the living room and yelled, “MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!”, tapped my leg again, and ran off.

I ignored her and walked to the kitchen. One minute later, she’s tapping my leg, yelling, “MEOW! MEOW! MEOW!” and then running off again.

I peeked down the hallway where she ran wondering what’s going on.

She was sitting in front of the hall closet meowing. As soon as she saw me, she yelled, “MEEEOOOWWWW!!!”

I translated this as “HEY! COME HEEEERE!”

I walked to the hall closet, opened the door, and what did I find? Kit Kat (our other cat). Socks saw Kit Kat, stopped meowing, and trotted away to a sunny spot for a nap.

(I have no idea how Kit Kat locked herself in that closet…)

If scrolling through 1000s of ideas on Pinterest looking for engaging + educational activities for your kids this summer and wondering if any are actually good is stressing you out (like poor Socks trying to help Kit Kat), check out the School Rocks Bundle.

You’ll find a round-up of products in one place that:

👉 stop summer slide (aka keep your kids’ brains ready for school in the fall).

👉 help your kids with executive function skills & regulating emotions.

👉 give your kids fun activities to keep them off Minecraft & Disney+.

All for $0.

(I think Minecraft & Disney+ are great but their educational value is questionable at best...)

Here are a few of my favorites:

☀️ Meet the White Blood Cells – you kids can build a medically-accurate immune system with lessons from an MD

☀️ Executive Function Guide for Parents – a 10-page guide with Executive Function principles & 3 super easy activities

☀️ Ultimate Life Skills Bundle for Kids – master money and emotional intelligence for kids

☀️ Following Directions Task Cards Bundle – cards include images with ready-to-use directions

☀️ Teach Kids About Money – this includes real-world scenarios and creative challenges to help your kids learn about earning, saving, spending, and entrepreneurship

☀️ Fractions Hands On Activities – your kids cut-and-paste worksheets to create puppets while practicing fractions (the picture shows a whale eating fish – super cute!)

☀️ Calm Summer Parenting Bundle – get tools to help you respond calmly to your kids and build cooperation

☀️ National Parks Activity Book Bundle – you can use these printables at home or if you go to any national parks

☀️ Summer Snack Picturized Recipes – an easy way to help your kids learn to cook

Okay, I’m going to stop now. That’s way more than a few. 😂

You should check it out because there are several more things in this bundle that you’re probably going to want.

And they’re only available for free until June 30th.

Hit forward and pass this on to any moms you know looking for fun activities for their kids!

Making sure Kit Kat hasn’t locked herself in another closet,

Nicole

P.S. Keep your kids busy this summer with educational and fun activities (including my Easy Spanish Starter Kit) in one place.

Hi! While running errands I see a donut shop called Dude’s Donuts. Cute name and only sells donuts? Yes, please. I check it out even though it’s afternoon so know what every donut lover knows: I’m going to see an almost empty case. Sure enough, I only see 3 cake donuts. Cake donuts with sprinkles, though, so I buy them. The guy (or should I say dude) rings me up. Donut Dude: That’ll be $9. Me, in my head: 😳 wuuuut Me, out loud: uh okay. And I hand over my debit card. I’m too chicken to say,...
